It will be an outing you will remember for a long time!

A sailing day on the Brava offers an experience of adventure and relaxation. The day is filled with different sailing moments. Whether you want to learn to sail better or just relax on deck. Our professional crew will offer what you need at your own level. Create memories that will last a lifetime. The photo series you get from us of this day will help you do just that.

An eventful day

Tacking, gybing, steering, sail trimming, mast trimming, genoa changes, spinnaker trimming and changes. 13 winches, hydraulics, electronics...

Working together as a team

During a race, the Brava is manned by 12 people. Boat handling must be fast and flawless to win a race as a team! There is a special sail on board for every wind angle and wind speed, which is optimal. Changing sails is a continuous process...

Sailing under angle

Takes some getting used to for beginners, but don't worry, the 5,000 Kg heavy keel ensures the boat won't tip over

Mooring in cosy little harbours

Visit picturesque harbour towns on the IJsselmeer or prefer lunch on board en route? It's all possible.

Learn (better) how to sail

Under the guidance of experienced crew, you will learn the basics of sailing, or some fine tuning for advanced sailors. No worries, all imaginable trimming options are available on the Brava!

Something different again... Day out of the box!

Sparring with your friends

Frequently asked questions

Make sure you have comfortable multi-layer clothing, shoes with white soles, water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses or cap.
No, sailing experience is not necessary. Sailing is for beginners and experienced sailors alike. The crew of the Brava will provide explanations and instructions to ensure an appropriate learning day for everyone

Sailing is less dangerous than driving a car. However, due to bad luck or an accident, things can sometimes go wrong. Fortunately, this happens very rarely. On board are a life raft, life buoys, man-over-board equipment, flares, fire extinguishers and many other emergency equipment. We are equipped with a comprehensive set of instruments to display all possible measurements. A plotter displays our position and an AIS transmitter and receiver displays positions of other ships and makes us visible to shipping traffic. There are two VHF radios on board to communicate with nearby ships and the coastguard in case of emergency.

Skipper and crew, meal package, various drinks (water, coffee, tea), unique Brava t-shirt, photos of the day afterwards exclusively downloadable.

Unfortunately, we do not take pets on board due to safety concerns.

Communicate your dietary requirements in advance so that the crew can take them into account when putting together the lunch packages.

We recommend bringing a light, soft sports bag as storage space is limited. One bag per person is usually enough for a day's sailing. Do bring a set of dry clothes.

There is no WiFi on board to promote a real escape from everyday life. Mobile coverage may vary depending on location, but it's a great opportunity to really relax and disconnect.

Safety and fun is paramount for our guests. If weather conditions do not look good, the tour may be rescheduled or we will wait for the showers to pass.
Everyone is welcome on board, children under 12 years of age are expected to board with supervision. Be aware that it is a sporty boat with a lot going on with relatively few quiet seats. We advise you to assess for yourself whether you and your child are comfortable with this. We will be happy to consult you.
